Reliable Maintenance Specialist for Pharmaceutical Environment

X4 Engineering has partnered with a pharmaceutical manufacturer to hire a skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Wiltshire site.
This is a shift-based role (12 hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) that requires strong mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge and a deep understanding of GMP principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance and breakdown repairs in a cleanroom environment while supporting daily operations to ensure reliable service supply to production.

- Estimated salary: £38,500 - £43,000 per year
- Location: Wiltshire, UK
- Start date: As soon as possible
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications/experience
- An electrical/mechanical engineering background
- Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing (experience in food manufacturing or other regulated industries considered)
Candidates must hold UK citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain/Settled Status to be considered. Some candidates on a postgraduate visa may also be eligible.
