Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a bank basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our service users, providing support with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, eating, drinking, cooking, health appointments, community activities, finances, and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities that promote independence and confidence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to CareTech Group's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in a caring environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with service users.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, as required.
  • Confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.
