Job Title: Brand Financial Controller

As a key member of the JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and profitability in the UK market.

Reporting to the Finance Director UK&I, you will lead the commercial finance team and collaborate closely with the Sales function to deliver the revenue and GP strategy for the UK business. Your expertise will ensure effective management of the business from a commercial financial and controlling perspective, based on the company's overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of RGM strategy to manage volume, pricing, and PNOC through management of promotions and pricing within customers.
  • Drive the month-end closing process with the Finance team to ensure Revenue and GP reporting is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Provide support, guidance, and meaningful insight to the leadership team and business partners on commercial finance matters, enabling them to make informed decisions and deliver ongoing strong business growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and broader finance functions to deliver against business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of FMCG/Commercial/Operations Finance experience.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • A passion for numbers and data.
  • Genuine enjoyment in building financial control systems that maximise profitability.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
