Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the activities of Lead Engineers and Multi-skilled Engineers in our dynamic Engineering environment. This includes focusing on health and safety, contractor management, food safety, and quality. The role also involves ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery in the designated production area, planning and managing Preventative Planned Maintenance schedules, overseeing staffing levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and manage Preventative Planned Maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Team Management: Oversee staffing levels, provide guidance and support to team members, and promote a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate the activities of Lead Engineers and Multi-skilled Engineers, providing strategic direction and guidance to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HND/HNC level or equivalent in Engineering, preferably with a focus on maintenance and operations.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of engineering experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role, including leadership and team management responsibilities.
  • Skills: Strong PC skills, excellent communication abilities, analytical and systematic approach, patience and persistency in work, ability to establish working relationships and integrate into a team.
