Project Director - Rail Infrastructure

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead a major rail project within their Network Rail Framework. This role will involve overseeing all framework activities from commencement to completion with a delegated team of Project & Senior Project Managers leading sections of the framework.

In this key position, you will be responsible for managing a team consisting of Project Managers, Senior Site Managers, Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, SHESQ Advisors, and Engineers. Effective client relationship management is crucial, and you will provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project/contract progress in the operational area.

To ensure the safe delivery of works, risk assessments must be created, implemented, and reviewed. You will also be responsible for complying with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as planning and delivering all work for the CAMS projects, ensuring that it is completed safely, on time, and to the agreed standard.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or similar field
  • Professional Chartership Status (CEng MICE) would be advantageous
  • Previous experience on high-profile rail projects is essential, with the ability to seamlessly manage possession works
  • Previous Director level experience leading major rail projects preferred
  • Ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Network Rail procedures would be beneficial
