We are seeking a highly skilled Fibre Installation Lead to join our team at Exponential-e Group. As a Fibre Installation Lead, you will be responsible for leading fibre installation projects, working closely with the Installation Manager and other team members to ensure the success and profitability of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fibre installation projects, ensuring timely and professional completion.
  • Supervise installation/commissioning teams, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Implement work pack instructions and produce red-line markup diagrams.
  • Prepare and interpret spreadsheets, customer documents, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure completion of works within project timescales.
  • Prepare RAMS, with technical content support from the team as required.
  • Provide detailed daily and weekly site reports, internal and customer-facing as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fibre fusion splicing and jointing.
  • Structured cabling installation.
  • Copper installation, jointing, and connections.
  • Working knowledge of copper and fibre testing, OTDR, and ILM.
  • Cable containment.
  • A responsible attitude and behavior in a manner appropriate to the position.
  • The ability to make decisions, think on their feet, and communicate and present information effectively.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • The ability to plan and prioritize own work, and those of others.
