Trades and Maintenance Manager

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an experienced Trades and Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively, adhering to health and safety regulations.

About the Role
  • Oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance operations, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Inspect works completed to ensure value for money and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, promoting and adhering to it at all times.
  • Handle complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to arrange, prioritize, and complete work efficiently.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota as supervisor contact, minimum once every 9 weeks.
Requirements
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation; applicants must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject.
  • Recent experience in a similar role, preferably in building maintenance or facilities management.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation application.
  • Proven experience working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook (or similar).

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
