Job Title: Mobile Service Technician

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Four (4) years or more of experience in advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • SBTIII trained (SBT220) and complete all OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses as required by location fleet mix
  • Tire & Wheel safety trained (TW220) and PM qualified (PM230 & PM298)
  • Brake Air qualified (BA220 & BA298) and Brake Hydraulic qualified (BH220&BH298) where appropriate
  • A/C recycling & recovery certified (CF609) and A/C qualified (AC220&AC298)
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A and Non Commercial Driver License CLASS E
