Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical team with a values-led approach, ensuring diligence and independent judgment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures across the business estate.
  • Align systems and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to develop and deliver a Food Safety & Quality culture.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs to monitor and drive improvement.
  • Ensure alignment with customer expectations and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide expert advice on Food Safety, quality, and technical matters.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Proven senior leadership experience in a technical management role within the chilled food industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within chilled food production and understanding of operational processes.
