About the Job

As a Special Education Assistant with SANZA Teaching Agency, you will play a vital role in supporting children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have a diagnosis of ASD. Our primary school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that meets the unique needs of each student. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and is able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, either as a teaching assistant or in a similar capacity. They should be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children who may be experiencing challenging behaviors. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is also essential, as you will be working with a diverse range of students with varying needs and abilities.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to students
  • Assisting with personal care tasks and supporting students with their daily routines
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
