Key Responsibilities:
As a Precision Machining Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Utilizing manual mills, lathes, saws, and radial drills to manufacture components.
  • Conducting self-inspections of components against technical drawings and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor for corrective measures.
  • Meeting production targets in alignment with the established production schedule.
  • Regularly assessing and maintaining tool conditions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing insights and suggestions to minimize production times and reduce downtime, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participating in training sessions for CNC machinery.
  • Adhering to quality standards and safety protocols in all tasks.
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace.

Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
  • A background in machine shop technology or a completed apprenticeship is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in manual machining and the ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and CAD/CAM software is a plus.

This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize precision and detail, demonstrating the ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
