Site Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our project delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out engineering duties across multiple projects, ensuring the highest health and safety standards are met, and demonstrating commercial awareness to ensure work is carried out within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and check the accuracy of supply chain partners' setting out
  • Review works in progress and completed, identifying areas for improvement
  • Report any tolerancing issues to the site team, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Contribute to the development of package quality plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to identify focus areas for future visits, driving continuous improvement
  • Uphold our HSE standards, reporting any issues to the site team, and ensuring compliance with design drawings and specifications
  • Upload site surveys to relevant systems, such as 4projects and SharePoint, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programmes and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in the use of modern surveying and setting out instrumentation
  • Appropriate CSCS card
  • Minimum relevant level 4 qualification (HNC / NVQ4 etc)
  • Valid driving license
Desirable Criteria:
  • Working towards MCIOB or ICE
