About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead our Highland, Moray and Eilean Siar region in delivering high-quality children's hearings. As a key member of our Area Support Team, you will work closely with volunteer tribunal panel members to provide exceptional support and guidance.

With a strong background in community development and social enterprise, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff and volunteers to deliver statutory duties and improve outcomes for infants, children, and young people.

You will have excellent communication and project management skills, with experience of guiding and supporting others through continuous improvement projects. A digitally literate individual with good knowledge of the sector, you will be comfortable using digital systems and supporting others to do so.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About Children's Hearings Scotland

Children's Hearings Scotland is a leading organisation working within the children's hearings system. Our mission is to make a positive contribution to improving outcomes for Scotland's infants, children, and young people. With a highly trained panel of 2,500 volunteer members, we take part in children's hearings across Scotland, making decisions with and for infants, children, and young people.

We are passionate about embedding our new regional support model across Scotland, changing the way we deliver high-quality hearings. By providing an enhanced and consistent support structure, we will enable our volunteer tribunal panel members to support children and young people throughout Scotland.
