Job Description

At DiverseJobsMatter, we're seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our Health team as an Initiative Lead for our Healthy Markets Initiative (HMI). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our health-focused campaign strategy, collaborating with institutional investors, and pushing major corporates to improve their nutritional standards and consumer health impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy to advance corporate accountability and deepen stakeholder engagement on health and nutrition issues.
  • Collaborate with institutional investors to refine the financial and moral case for corporate health improvements and lead discussions with major food and beverage companies.
  • Develop impactful communications to stakeholders, including investors, corporate leaders, and the public, to raise awareness about the importance of health and nutrition in responsible investment practices.
  • Engage with corporate leaders to influence better nutrition and health outcomes within the food and beverage sectors.
  • Contribute to the development of a world where the financial system promotes health and wellbeing by scaling up the Healthy Markets Initiative, securing long-term funding, and embedding health and nutrition as critical aspects of responsible investment.

Requirements

  • Passion for holding global organizations accountable for their impact on people and the planet.
  • Experience in research, campaigning, or responsible investment, with a knack for working with diverse stakeholders and driving meaningful change.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to dive deep into complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including investors, corporate leaders, and the public.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
