Position: Fibre Optics Systems Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and development of advanced fibre-optic amplifier subsystems
  • Ensure that projects adhere to timelines and budgetary guidelines
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of design engineers
  • Supervise prototype construction and assembly processes
  • Develop and implement testing protocols for the validation of photonic components
  • Engage with clients to discuss specifications and effectively communicate results
  • Build strong relationships with technical professionals
  • Conduct technical evaluations and generate management reports

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the optics/photonics field with a focus on optical amplifiers
  • Practical experience in the product development of fibre optics or laser technologies
  • Hands-on expertise in constructing and testing fibre-optic components
  • Capability to manage both financial and technical elements of development projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Physics with a specialization in Optics, Photonics, or Fibre optics
