Mental Health Support Assistant

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties and autism
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Help students with their academic and personal goals
  • Support students with behavior management and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with learning difficulties and autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidentiality and discretion when working with sensitive information
