£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (35K - 45K OTE)

Overview:

This is an opportunity to work with a leading specialist industrial door company with over 48 years of trading history. The company is looking for individuals to join their team to provide high-standard workmanship in regard to the repair, installation, and servicing of industrial doors and related equipment.

Due to increasing demand, the company is expanding without compromising work-life balance. Most work is within a 30-mile radius, minimizing nights away and daily mileage.

The company is an "Investors in People" organization, recognizing the importance of training and development, and encourages employees to maximize their potential.

The Role:

Servicing, repair, and installation of industrial doors, loading bay, and access equipment.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday between 08.00 to 17.00, with overtime as required, usually as part of an engineering team.

Covering the emergency call-out rota is also required - currently 1 week in 12. An additional standby fee, call-out fee, and overtime are paid.

Required Skills:

Essential:

  • Good mechanical skills, ability to diagnose faults and resolve problems.
  • Able to work on own initiative, happy working hard, flexible attitude, and a team player.
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Confident working at heights.

Desirable:

  • Industrial Door experience.
  • Welding.
  • Electrically qualified.
  • IPAF, PASMA, CSCS Card.
