Industrial Door Engineer Job Description

Infinity Employment is seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and shutters.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install new shutters and overhead sectional doors.
  2. Attend out-of-hours work when required, at time and a half.
  3. Diagnose faults, conduct site surveys, and complete job sheets detailing issues and repair requirements.
  4. Ensure the company meets strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  5. Travel to customers' sites to perform service, installation, and repairs on industrial, retail, and commercial doors.
  6. Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.

Requirements:
  1. Be enthusiastic and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  2. Possess clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  3. Be capable of manual lifting and physical work.
  4. Be flexible and able to adapt to changes in workload.
  5. Be competent in advising customers on solutions to their problems.
  6. Be proficient in using digital technologies for completing job sheets, emails, and fault diagnosis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Full UK Driving Licence - must be clean.
  • Previous experience in commercial and industrial roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, automatic doors, hinged doors, hi-speed doors, and aluminium and APG doors.
