We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP The Mount, a category C adult male prison located in Hertfordshire.

This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work on rotational shifts, providing high-quality care to patients and supporting the nursing and pharmacy teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized, non-judgmental care to patients
  • Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing, and clinics
  • Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
