Job Title: IT Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team at St Mary's School and College. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Identify and remediate software, hardware, and network faults.
  • Develop and implement procedures for IT system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Trust IT support provider to ensure seamless IT support.
  • Perform regular checks and maintenance on all school assets.

Requirements:

  • Significant IT skills for the support and installation of computer hardware, network operating systems, software, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to use own initiative and resolve most faults independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Hours: 25 hours per week, working pattern to be confirmed, during term time only.
