Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at The Smartlist. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for computer hardware, network operating systems, software, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Identify and remediate software, hardware, and network faults.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff knowledge and skill in using ICT resources.
  • Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on all school's assets.
  • Work collaboratively with the Trust IT support provider to ensure seamless technical support.

Requirements

  • Significant IT skills and experience in supporting and installing computer hardware, network operating systems, software, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to use own initiative and resolve most faults independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week, with a working pattern to be confirmed. The successful candidate will work during term time only.
