Senior Internal Auditor Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Rec Sense Recruitment. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading complex audits at client sites, ensuring high-quality results within tight deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand key risks identified by management and controls in place to address those risks within each area of the client's annual audit plan.
- Manage, perform, and control internal audit assignments, including planning, programming, conduct, and reporting of findings.
- Draft audit planning documents for approval and review by client and management.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and working paper files within the specified timeframe, adding value and good practice.
- Lead and supervise junior staff on individual assignments, providing technical guidance and support.
- Provide job training and guidance for auditors and training for junior auditors.
- Perform complex and specialist audits, including review work on significant findings.
- Assist management in ensuring that assignments are completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in internal auditing, with a strong understanding of risk management and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex audit issues.
- Proficiency in audit software and tools, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
