Senior Internal Auditor

Join Rec Sense Recruitment in our search for a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to lead our internal audit team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting complex and specialist audits at client sites, ensuring compliance with our internal audit standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and perform internal audit assignments, including planning, programming, and reporting.
  • Lead and supervise junior staff on individual assignments, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Assess performance of team members and provide feedback.
  • Identify and proactively manage own training and development needs.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across various clients.
Requirements:
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, or CIMA.
  • Previous experience in internal audit, with good technical knowledge of the internal audit process and sector issues.
  • Ability to review and control technical content of work, ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and internal audit standards.
