About the Role

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assessment and Liaison Tutor to join our team. As a key member of our course management team, you will play a crucial role in the coordination, management, review, and development of all aspects of assessment on our M7 courses delivered within the UK and Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of assessment, including equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion dimensions of assessment issues.
  • Liaise effectively with the Academic Registry team to ensure compliance with university partner and Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) regulatory requirements.
  • Take lead responsibility for managing issues of academic integrity, in conjunction with the Academic Registry team.
  • Work closely with national and international centres to ensure consistency and best possible assessment practice, including issues of equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Consult with the Student Disability Officer and other relevant staff to ensure appropriate assessment processes are followed for students with identified learning needs.
Requirements
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
  • Eligibility for full membership of the Association of Child Psychotherapy.
  • Capacity to take a strategic lead within the Trust and externally in relation to national and international centres.
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively with analytic and non-analytic colleagues.
  • Ability to support, develop, and manage visiting lecturers.
  • A capacity to communicate clearly in writing (as well as verbally); to be responsible for coordinating data collection and the writing of reports for project work in a training and education context.
