Play and Entertainment Volunteer

Join us at DeedMob B.V as a Play and Entertainment Volunteer and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people visiting The Ark.
About the Role:As a Play and Entertainment Volunteer, you will work closely with a Specialist Carer to provide play and entertainment to children and young people. This role does not involve assisting with clinical procedures or administering medication.
Key Responsibilities:- Gaining experience of working directly with children, young people, and their families
- Building knowledge of delivering structured activities
- Developing effective communication skills with children and young people in challenging circumstances
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour
- Confidentiality awareness
- A strong understanding of the role and of Noah's Ark's expectations of volunteers
- Reliability, commitment, and engagement
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- A good level of self-awareness
While experience of working with children, young people, or families is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with varying skills.
