Children and Young People Activity Assistant

We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our team at DeedMob B.V as a Children and Young People Activity Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our Specialist Carers in providing play and entertainment to children and young people visiting The Ark.
Job Description:The successful candidate will work closely with a Specialist Carer who will lead and guide all activities. You will not be required to assist with clinical procedures or administer medication.
Responsibilities:- Gain valuable experience working directly with children, young people, and their families
- Build knowledge of delivering structured activities
- Develop effective communication skills with children and young people in challenging circumstances
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour
- Confidentiality awareness
- A strong understanding of the role and of Noah's Ark's expectations of volunteers
- Reliability, commitment, and engagement
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- A good level of self-awareness
While experience of working with children, young people, or families is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with varying skills.
