Caregiver for Vulnerable Children

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice is looking for a compassionate Caregiver for Vulnerable Children to join our team. As part of the specialist care team, you will provide clinical and holistic care to babies, children, and young people with life-threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.
You will work in various settings, including our inpatient unit, families' homes, and the community, delivering high-quality family-centred palliative care. This role requires you to be available to work a variety of shifts across a rota, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as regular travel across our operating region.
About the RoleYou will use your skills, knowledge, and expertise to provide care for children and young people with complex needs and support for their families and carers. You will be trained and competent to work as a lone worker in the community.
- Deliver high-quality family-centred palliative care to babies, children, and young people with life-threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
- Safeguard all children and young people accessing our services by responding to concerns raised in a timely and appropriate manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use.
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits, including:

- Time for travel paid, including free car parking and a generous mileage allowance.
