HPLC Analyst Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced HPLC Analyst to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our laboratory, you'll be responsible for providing technical support for HPLC-based analytics, ensuring the operational effectiveness of our lab equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

About the Role:
This position involves working closely with our engineering teams to address mechanical and electrical issues within the lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HPLC systems, including Waters and Agilent, and be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support for HPLC-based analytics, including troubleshooting equipment issues and refining analytical methods.
- Contribute to project documentation through meticulous data entry and comprehensive technical report writing, including CAPA implementation.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, encompassing decontamination, equilibration of equipment, and buffer preparation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, performing regular maintenance, calibration, and cleaning, especially HPLCs.
- Effectively manage laboratory consumables, monitor stock levels, maintain the red card system, and coordinate procurement.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks to maintain an organized and compliant lab space, including waste/recycling management and safety shower testing.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in laboratory operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HPLC systems, including Waters and Agilent.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and a solid technical background.
- Excellent data handling and entry skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and possess strong communication skills.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Salary Estimate: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
