Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a prestigious mainstream secondary school and college in Merton.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in and out of the classroom. They will assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities, help students overcome barriers to learning, and promote inclusion within the classroom.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities

  • Support students with their academic progress, including homework, assignments, and exam preparation
