Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage a team of accounts payable specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving payment batches, reconciliations, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  2. Review and approve payment batches, reconciliations, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Develop and implement accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  4. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.
  5. Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices related to accounts payable.
  6. Prepare accounts payable reports and analysis for management review and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems (e.g., SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
