About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Gas Cylinder Technician at our Port Clarence facility in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our gas cylinders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a safe and incident-free working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform quality checks and refurbish gas cylinders to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Filling gas cylinders with pressurized gas on a production line setup.
  • Loading and unloading cylinders onto pallets and cages.
  • Rotate on cylinder filling, maintenance, and inspection activities as required.
  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always worn.
  • Perform any cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
  • Comply with all training provided, risk assessments, and operational bulletins.
Requirements
  • An eye for detail and a high level of concern for safety.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as take instructions from site leaders.
  • Work as part of a team and independently as required.
