Position: Home Manager

Negotiable Salary: Up to £55,000

Hours: Full time

Contract type: Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager who is NMC qualified (RGN/RMN) to join our fantastic Care Home based near Pontypridd. The home is registered for up to 52 residents and has a great reputation in the area.

The home specialises in the following care categories:

  • Dementia
  • Mental Health Condition
  • Older Person Care
  • Respite Care

This is a very well-run home with excellent staffing, and we believe it could be a great opportunity for a Deputy Manager looking to step up to Home Manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing a care home, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving good CQC ratings.
  • NMC pin (NURSE/RGN/RMN)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource management, and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Recognised qualification in health & social care.
