Job Title: Senior Buyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Euro Car Parts Ltd. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for spearheading efforts to maximize value, optimize benefits, and enhance efficiency in indirect procurement across the region and the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all tender renewal processes for indirect procurement, including quote processing, liaising with functions on requirements, and meeting deadlines.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of governance and process.
  • Support the Head of IDP on deployment of strategies for the UK and Ireland business.
  • Be a primary point of contact and reference for Indirect Procurement for both internal and external customers for the UK business.
  • Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new procurement processes, including systems such as Coupa and Babbage.
  • Analyze supplier performance closely and meet with suppliers regularly to ensure efficiencies and the best price and service possible.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with key stakeholders through regular business review meetings and a clear communication matrix.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in procurement, with experience in indirect procurement.
  • Degree or CIPPS is desirable.
  • Experienced in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels in the business.
  • Experienced in working in a matrix organization.
