About the Role

We are working with a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, TPF Recruitment, to find a talented Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
  • Assisting with management accounts production
  • Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements
  • 1-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
  • Studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Hands-on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation
Benefits
  • £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable
  • 28 days Annual leave
