Job Opportunity
TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working with a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants to find a skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience within an accountancy practice and be studying AAT / ACCA or be qualified by experience. They will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts to review stage, assisting with management accounts production, and personal taxation, corporate taxation, and VAT returns. The successful candidate will also have hands-on experience of accounts, tax, and VAT preparation and be able to coach and mentor junior staff members and trainees. The role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and background, negotiable, as well as 28 days Annual leave, auto-enrolment pension, and study support. Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
  • Assisting with management accounts production

  • General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Requirements
  • 1-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
  • Studying AAT / ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Hands-on experience of accounts, tax, and VAT preparation
