Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our Retail Store team at Lidl. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the store during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Ensure the store is fully stocked and merchandised to a high standard
- Manage cash handling and till operations to minimize losses
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.35 - £14.85
- A 30 hour contract with opportunities for overtime
- 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) per year
- 10% in-store discount
