Job Title: Planning Co-Ordinator

We are a leading manufacturer of a diverse and trusted range of concrete and clay building products used extensively within the construction sector. Our product range comprises of clay bricks, Thermalite blocks, aggregate blocks, Red Bank chimney, roofing and flue systems, precast concrete and flooring products and Formpave permeable paving.

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Whittlesey Planning team in the position of Planning Co-Ordinator on a 6 month Fixed term Contract. As a Planning Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for meeting all customers/haulier requirements in the most cost-effective manner while achieving a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To answer incoming calls to the office quickly, politely and professionally.
  • To be fully responsible for calculating costings, and processing payments accurately.
  • To process and manage orders efficiently and accurately.
  • To work alongside the planning team clearing loads.
  • To make proactive calls to hauliers to Sub-contract work.
  • To review, cleanse and input data accurately.
  • To uphold customer charter and agreed KPIs.
About You:

We are looking for a strong communicator and team player with excellent diplomatic communication and negotiation skills at all levels. You will have a high level of initiative and proactive skills required. You will also have strong computer literacy and skills, with the ability to prioritise and make decisions, as well as problem solve.
