Group Account Director, Converged Sales
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Group Account Director to lead our converged sales efforts in the UK market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across our digital and streaming platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize advertising revenue across our digital and streaming platforms in the UK market.
- Identify and pursue high-value new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
- Provide expert guidance on converged advertising strategies, with a focus on My5, PlutoTV, Paramount+, and YouTube.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers at key brands and agencies in the UK digital advertising space.
- Present high-level, compelling advertising proposals that showcase the unique benefits of our digital and streaming platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Account Directors and Account Executives specializing in digital and streaming advertising sales.
- Mentor team members on industry best practices, emerging trends, and leadership skills in the UK streaming and digital video landscape.
- Oversee account-level P&L and manage project scopes to ensure profitability across all digital platforms.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the sales team.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our digital and streaming ecosystem, including My5, PlutoTV, Paramount+, and YouTube channels.
- Stay at the forefront of developments in digital video advertising, including programmatic, addressable TV, and advanced targeting capabilities.
- Provide strategic feedback to product, marketing, and senior management teams on market demand and new feature development.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in agency advertising sales, with a strong focus on digital video and streaming platforms in the UK market.
- Proven track record of managing and growing major digital advertising accounts, demonstrating strong client relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK media landscape, particularly in streaming and digital video, including familiarity with key players and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and client engagement.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex data into actionable insights for clients.
- Leadership and team management.
- Negotiation and client relationship management.
- Financial acumen and budget management.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK digital and streaming advertising ecosystem.
