Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world's greatest driving cars. We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Infotainment Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer of Electrical Systems and Project Leaders to deliver infotainment software from concept to production.
- Plan, develop, and integrate Android-based software and features to satisfy vehicle functionalities and customer requirements.
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and partners throughout the development cycle.
- Own the definition of software requirements for the Infotainment unit and generate digital traceability.
- Work with stakeholders to identify software solutions that contribute to the overall success of the vehicle programme.
- Manage technical deliverables, project plans, and open issues decks for assigned systems to support on-time delivery.
- Report issues into JIRA with traceability of failure mode and links to log/test/evidence files.
- Five or more years of experience in managing the delivery of new infotainment software for a global vehicle.
- Demonstrable experience reporting and managing software defects through Mantis, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Practical experience with vehicle architectures and display protocols.
- Experience with logging tools and automotive diagnostics tools.
- Technical understanding of infotainment system components and their interaction with onboard vehicle network communication.
- Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, or similar honours engineering degree.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- No visa or other restrictions for working in the UK or travelling in the European Union.
