Job Summary
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to patients in our community mental health teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing advanced and expert-level practice, including non-medical prescribing, to support the clinical and operational team in delivering service improvements in quality of care and safety.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clients with complex needs, strong clinical and leadership skills, and excellent communication skills. They will also be enthusiastic and motivated to support our Specialist CMHTs in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality services to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced and expert-level practice within the CMHT
* Support the clinical and operational team to deliver service improvements in quality of care and safety
* Hold a caseload and lead assessment, formulation, and prescribing of care plans
* Participate in the Bronze on-call/Bronze on-site rota
* Contribute to a CMHT education and training programme
* Establish and maintain robust communication networks with clients, carers, and team members

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, Nurse Prescribing qualification, and registered first-level nurse status. They will also have experience of working at a senior clinical nurse level, compiling protocols and clinical guidance, and auditing. A clinical based Masters degree is desirable.
