About the Role

You'll be responsible for leading all aspects of product development, including planning and executing laboratory and pilot plant work, producing prototypes, and solving technical problems related to the coatings and plastics segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to environmentally safe work practices.
  • Maintain laboratory and pilot plant equipment in accordance with site safety rules.
  • Conduct research and development of new products and processes.
  • Mentor junior scientists and provide guidance on technical projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Communicate technical information to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist with a strong background in chemistry and a passion for innovation. You'll have a degree in Chemistry or a related field and experience in product development in an industrial manufacturing environment.
