SGS is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of oil and gas products.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough chemical inspections and analyses on oil and gas products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise and inspect cargo to ensure it meets our quality and safety requirements.
- Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Full driving license eligible to use in the UK.
- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Experience in a laboratory or quality control role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
