Job Summary
Synopsis of the role:
- As a Chemical Inspector with SGS, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of oil and gas products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough chemical inspections and analyses on oil and gas products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise and inspect cargo to guarantee its quality and safety.
- Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to all relevant safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Hold a full driving license eligible for use in the UK.
- Have experience working in an industrial environment.
- Have experience in a laboratory or quality control role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
