We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing exceptional education for children in Primary Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students with a variety of additional needs.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to stimulate and motivate students.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or in a school.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently.
  • Calming presence under pressure.
