Job Title: Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Assessor to join our team. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Department for Communities (DfC) in making informed decisions about the impact of health conditions and disabilities on claimants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of claimants to gather evidence and information about their health conditions and disabilities.
  • Use your expertise and knowledge to write detailed reports that accurately reflect the impact of health conditions and disabilities on claimants.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that assessments are comprehensive and accurate.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with no restrictions and a valid PIN.
  • Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and generate accurate reports.
  • Proficient with IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
  • Valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £38,500 - £41,500*.
  • Retention bonus: 5%.
  • Additional bonus: Up to 10% for quality and retention.
  • Estimated total earnings (OTE): £45,650.
