Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio Software Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating high-quality DSP audio filters and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality DSP audio filters and algorithms that meet the required specifications.
  • Integration and Verification: Integrate and verify the designed DSP audio filters and algorithms with our embedded solutions.
  • Code Quality and Maintenance: Deliver high-quality code and ensure that it is well-maintained and up-to-date.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for our DSP audio filters and algorithms.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our DSP audio filters and algorithms meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
Requirements:
  • Essential:
    • Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures.
    • Excellent knowledge of embedded architectures and real-time embedded software.
    • Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development.
    • Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of fixed-point implementation.
    • Good knowledge of software development workflows and working methodologies.
    • Clearly report bugs using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Desirable:
    • Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications such as headphones and wireless earbuds.
    • Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins.
    • Experience using SystemC.
