Page Personnel Finance is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations within the energy and natural resources industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage financial transactions and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including analysis and interpretation of financial data.
- Participate in financial audits and assist with the resolution of audit findings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including the development of financial models and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to improve financial processes and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- An approximate salary range of £25k to £28k per annum, depending on experience.
