About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Support Worker to join our team at Mears Group PLC. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to a young lady who is Autistic and requires a nurturing and encouraging peer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the individual with household tasks and maintenance of tenancy
  • Provide nutritious meals and advice on healthy eating
  • Encourage the individual to try new shops and experiences
  • Support with washing hair when required
  • Accompany the individual to bingo sessions and other activities
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm and passion for providing care and support
  • Compassion and ability to show dignity and respect to the individual
  • Physical fitness (not extreme)
  • Ability to manage behaviour which challenges
