About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Real Life Options. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living skills and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living skills, including meal preparation, household tasks, shopping, medication, personal care, and attending medical appointments.
  • Encourage and promote service users' independence by enabling them to make their own choices and decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals with complex needs, providing person-centered care that is flexible and adaptable to each individual's requirements.
  • Support individuals to reach their goals, achieve outcomes, and participate in their community.

Requirements

  • No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A willingness to walk between houses within the local area is essential.
  • An enhanced PVG is required for this role.
