About The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Stakeholder Manager to join our team, supporting one of our largest and most exciting projects in renewable energy – Eastern Green Link 1. You will provide comprehensive support in overseeing and ensuring coordination with secondary consents, such as local highways departments, Environmental agencies, and licensing authorities.
The work location will have 3rd party infrastructure works being delivered concurrently to our onshore cable installation works. This includes offshore and onshore renewable energy construction schemes, such as windfarms, Sub Station and Converter Station construction works, associated haul roads with shared access points, Overhead Power Line works, and energy storage facilities.
Responsibilities
- Capture and manage third party requirements
- Manage the interface between third parties
- Facilitate regular meetings or workshops involving all stakeholders, including third-party contractors, internal teams, and clients
- Develop comprehensive documentation outlining third-party requirements, expectations, and timelines
- Align the goals of third-party contractors with the overall project objectives
- Proactively identify potential risks related to third-party requirements
- Collaborate on risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions
- Review third-party programmes
- Attend various interface meetings, including design
- Track the status of permits and address any delays and issues, communicating permit-related information to project teams and clients
- Maintain accurate records of permits obtained and prepare reports on project permit status
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar position, preferably within the energy/renewables sector
- Previous experience in a Substation environment or similar and necessary technical knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Proactive, results-driven, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact
